Curiosity Is Not Just About Content

People are curious and people do like to find out about new things but if it comes to solving a problem and a problem looks like it cannot be solved then people lose interest. So you need things at the right level of difficulty otherwise people lose their curiosity. He says he doesn't think that content is what drives interest and he gives the example of when he was at school and there was going to be some discussion of sex in one of his classes. It was just some really boring droning on by some teacher that he didn't find very interesting.
