The Side Effects of Albendazole in Parenchymal Disease

50% of people with calcified disease have perilasional edema around a calcified lesion. It's probably responsible for at least half of all of these ongoing seizures and endemic regions. We don't know what sets it off, but it seems to be a subset of lesions. In parenchymal disease, we know that just giving albendazole to viable disease is important because it decreases the likelihood of seizures.
