The case for a core bond is something as simple as yields are near historic equity-like returns. 90% of our JP Morgan investment grade index trades below par, so if you hold this bond to maturity, it will pay you back at par. So I think the case for core bonds, which last 10 years, very boring, not so sexy, I think they look pretty exciting at this point.
