Westinghouse and the Bankers

Westinghouse was trying to raise money when a banker saw an opportunity of weakness. When the bankers demanded a voice and management, Westinghouse explained in a genuine and pleasant way that this was impossible. The two sides went back and forth at some length until Westinghouse said he must have an answer. He had always run his own companies. They were flourishing before this immediate need to pay off electrical credit, electric creditors.
