What's Worse Than Being in a Wheelchair?
i set out to write a book about a disabled character that wasn't about disability, because that's where i could see people were pushing me towards. People think they know what that story is. And so when you don't go along those lines, those kind of well worn lines, they question you not there. That really was my project, was to get the reader to question their assumptions. and how that worked functionally was that he, he has a lot of problems, and the wheel chair is, is the least of em.
