What Kind of Educational Opportunities Do Refugees Have?
The options for refugees run the gamut of educational opportunities similar to those for students from the host country. Students typically study the curriculum of the host country and they take national exams in camps and cities alike. For older students, adolescents and youth who are amongst the displaced populations, may have opportunities to participate in accelerated learning programs. In some contexts, there are also ICT interventions, so information communication technologies and leveraging technology to expand access to education.
