James Fodor: In this episode, we're going to talk about acids and bases. He says the Bronsted-Laurid definition is the easiest one to understand conceptually. An acid is any chemical substance that donates a proton in a reaction; bases are substances that accept a proton. We'll also look at neutralization reactions, how they relate to strong and weak acids or bases.
