The best habits are the ones that are completely personalized to your preferences, your lifestyle and to your constraints. Before I had kids I used to go running in the evenings with a group of people from work but it was much more of a social event than an exercise habit. As a new mom I didn't have any running buddies living close by and evenings were the worst. So I chose finishing my morning coffee as the queue for going on a run.
