When you get stuck in a narrative, it tends to have a certain kind of flavor. It starts to bug you something about the repetitive nature of it. Often I will go into how is this some kind of revisit or repetition of some kind of childhood narrative. Oh, how is this narrative actually convenient for me to avoid something that's actually difficult for me? That's one of the main ones I go to.
