The Lord's Statement of the End of the Judgment
The lord's announcement of the end, in connection with the fruit of the end of the summer might then be significant. While amos had interceded for the nation in response to the first two visions, after the third and fourth, he does not. The vision is a declaration of the finality of the judgment about to fall the nation. There will be no return from it.
