What I Learned From Horace Mann's Homeschooling Laws
Horace Mann also created the nation's first mental institution in 1833. He homeschooled his own children while mandating compulsory schooling for others. In some of his writings he had a lot of contempt for parents you know calling them hostages to our cause and so forth.
