In the introduction of the book, you tend to say that you don't want to take a strong position on this. So I have kind of refined, or tried to refrain from making broad, brushed statements. The people who are actually living this phenomenon don't classify it as such. Ethiopian would rarely classify what is going on as colonialism, neither with the Chinese. Of course, both sides recognize there is a symmetry in power dynamics, but none of them are. This is the first one. And asking this question, very few people ask what actually is colonialism.
