The experiments were conducted from 19 57 to 19 69 on patients classified as sexual psychopaths under a now repealed law. Patients at the hospital were never told of the experiments, in which the subjects were given the drug while being given the drugs while being interrogated by doctors. The c i is trying to locate the victims to inform them and advise them of their rights and possibly make restitution. I would argue that perhaps they might have had some other reason.
