Is the Presence of the Priest a Mediator?
Daniel: In the West, it may be because we don't see the priest as an intrinsic minister of the sacrament that his presence becomes important. Daniel: For St. Thomas, God is always working through mediation, right? Um, always. And so there's a mediator on behalf of the church, usually how we speak about it with, with an ordained priest or bishop. Uh, exo, pre-aparado, uh, and Christ is mediating that efficient cause of grace between God and humanity.
