A lot of the characters in your book are both deeply concerned about the implications of artificial general intelligence. But at the same time, we have all these great personalities who are advancing the drive to generate AGI and saying "we should be really nervous about this" There's a kernel of something real there and something very important there, right? It makes sense on some level to show concern because we need to show concern for all these technologies.
