LZ Granderson: Faith crisis causes massive amounts of emotional, psychological, spiritual pain. He says when people have the courage to share with their loved ones what they're going through, they're ostracized. LZ: When that institution has betrayed them, ah, it's incredibly psychologically wounding and damaging. And for that reason, so many people do. But the sad part is, or oftentimes when they go, the struggles and the issues that are so painful for them, of course, do not just go away.
