The Power of Mindfulness in the Workplace
When I started writing more, I began paying attention to my thoughts in the gym and I would often get these kind of breakthrough ideas or perspectives at an accelerated rate when my blood is pumping. And so if I'm working on a problem, I find I'm thinking about it sort of semi-consciously as you work. Because one of the things I've learned to respect is the role of the unconscious or subconscious, you know, at work. It's continually at work and it pops things up surprisingly and pay attention to those. So there must be something to this, giving yourself time to relax and letting the mind wander.
