Basil or Simake?

Someone asked, basil or simake? Which one should i choose for a new project with lots of dependencies? Someone doesn't like basil. On the other hand, people say in the thread, managing dependencies in basil has been a lot easier than seamake. And also, basil is a better and more powerful buill system.
