Intro

This chapter explores the symbiotic relationship between fig trees and fig wasps, particularly how Calamyrna figs depend on these wasps for pollination. It also discusses the reproductive strategies of fig trees and the differences between edible and non-edible varieties, alongside the importation of both figs and pollinators from Turkey.
