The Effect of Direct Credit on Industrial Growth

This policy seemed to work, this directed credit thing. Directing resources in this way to these sectors seem to promote investment. And there seems to be evidence of spillovers from this policy. What I cannot show is what was the aggregate cost benefit of this. These are things that scholars really ought to study. Hopefully we can develop tools to explore these things better.
