We Need a Waiting Period for Rifles
We are creating the backstop insurance policy for all of the excuses we need when we mess up, with no personal responsibility. The problem with people's misunderstanding of how this works is criminals have guns. We're advocating that law abiding citizens not to be able to own firearms from the ages of 18 to 21. I know a lot of young men and women who are responsible at the age of 18. So we're saying, you can't own a gun, can't protect you or defend your family, because why?
