The Frankfort School's New Deal Is a Covert Totalitarianism

There are sections of the frankfort school's work that almost sound like a neo conservative critique of f d r's new deal. The frankfort school thinks the government props up capitalism from failing. They would say it is not a coincidence that there has been such a massive increase in the size and scope of the federal government over the ears. People in capitalist societies are often educated to think about the public and private sectors as two things that are divorced, separate and sort of regulating each other. But in a monopoly capitalist society, there're just two arms on the giant leviathan of capitalism that controls everything.
