The sexual revolution was allied to some consciousness expansion. Part of living with lots of people or being open to sleeping with anybody was part and parcel of this kind of flowering of the cantacoupe. If you didn't want to do that, that was somehow a sign of your own kind of limit. You're either horny or you weren't, you had a low sex drive. No one's interested in you. The number of people who've said they've been accused of being frigid is staggering.
