The Summer of Joy in Chicago
So far in July, Chicago has had 10 homicides and 62 total shootings. Nine of those homicides were killed with a firearm; 53 people have been wounded. These are like worse than a day, you know, worse than a four day period in Afghanistan. The victim breakdown in Chicago right now so far this year, 82.3% are black and 13.6% are Hispanic. So we're talking about 95% of the victims are black and Hispanic. That is a real big problem. And it's a destroying piece to the narrative there. It should be absolutely destructive.
