The CDC's Advisory Committee Vote on Vaccines

ACIP, the CDC's advisory committee, had a vote to effectively decide whether or not to recommend people get this vaccine or these vaccines. In kind of a surprise move, what they decided was that people 65 and older and people 60 to 64 should be allowed to get the vaccine if they wanted to and if their doctors believe it would be good for them. And that will have a depressing effect on uptake for sure.
