The NTSB's Preliminary Report on the March 3rd Inflight Upset
The NTSB released their preliminary report on the March 3rd inflight upset that occurred as a Bombardier Challenger 300 was flying from keen down to Virginia and diverted to Windsor-Locks. The FAA has been operating without a confirmed administrator since April of 2022, so almost a year now for the FAA without a confirmed Administrator. Billy Nolan, who is a former pilot and the FAA's chief safety, aviation safety person, has been the acting administrator for almost a year but he is not a confirmed administrator. It remains to be seen whether the Biden Administration will nominate him or find somebody else.
