The Problem With Quantum Mechanics

If you have quantum mechanical bits, qubits that are doing many things at the same time, especially when you're not measuring them, then you can imagine a computer that can do many parallel computations. And if you had enough qubits, you could imagine therefore doing incredibly complicated calculations in a reasonable amount of time. This has been great progress but it's difficult to imagine quantum computers being scaled up.
