The Loch Ness Monster

It was five years ago when I reported on the latest attempts of researchers to find hard evidence of the Loch Ness Monster. Now environmental DNA is a surveillance tool that's used to monitor for the genetic presence of an aquatic species. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, they're using EDNA as they call it, to monitor for big head carp and silver carp which are invasive. So it's good to know if these invasive species are getting into our fresh waters.
