Is There a Middle Ground Between a Free Market and a Multipolar Economy?
I would say that the people who are either defending having one Leviathan federal government controlling everything here and or the people who say that, you know, the US has to rule the world. And this is something else. It's the difference between emergent order and imposed order. That's why we're supposed to believe that a free market, while it's not perfect and doesn't make everybody a billionaire, is still all things considered superior to central centrally planned Soviet style economy. Why on earth would you assume that a unipolar world in which one power is trying to rule and control everything is automatically going to be superior to a multipolar world where power is more dispersed amongst different regions of the world
