By April 2012, Watkins was the worst he'd ever been. He was totally wrecked on drugs all the time and the band was starting to fall apart. Essex police contacted South Wales police with more concerns that had been brought to their attention from a different complainant. At the same time, another case emerged about Detective Sergeant Andrew Whelan. There were now reports emerging that he didn't act on suspicions of a man accused of raping a 14 year old girl.
