The Pros and Cons of Using Go in Production
At the time, it wasn't clear how much Google actually used go in production. I did a quick back of the envelope math and thought, okay, I think I can use this language. So that was my validation point at the time. That's really interesting because kind of the same time frame, Brian and I didn't want to plan it in in San Francisco for similar reason where we wanted to try to prove that this was an outside of Google thing.
