Eddie Jekko and Olivier Giroud in the Champions League

Eddie Jekko has been at it in Italy for a long time and was very effective. It's easier for that target man to thrive when there are other players making runs beyond. Laetara Martin, DiMarco down the left-hand side were causing problems. Mecha Tarrou and Shalin Nourlu, and also Barello, I thought was fantastic once again. Giroud maybe would have looked better had Liao being there to kind of just offer that fretting behind that then creates sort of space and opportunities. But now, you know, Jekko is still doing an excellent job.
