The Value of Reason, Purpose and Self Esteem

Objectivism is based on first principles and not on social theories. Rand's three cardinal values are reason, purpose and self esteem. She said that if we hold these the values that are derived from my existence, from my identity, it will bring about joy because i'm living in accordance with my values.
