The Medical Consensus

The medical consensus at one time, I think it was like four to five doctors. A lucky strike was the best cigarette. The medical consensus gave lobotomies to people who were depressed. There's vioxx. It goes on and on and on. Who would think that under these conditions, when everybody is panicked and all kinds of wildly unscientific demands are being made of people? This doesn't make any sense.
