The Importance of a Second Match at the Australian Open

I don't understand why there isn't a solution to this with a second match. There is not one match that is more than an hour and a half, not one in the entire draw. You can easily get a five-hour plus match in a best of five-set men's match. And honestly, if they want, they can control how long that is,. because the players will just entertain.
