Christianity was certainly infused in all of the topics. I had typical subjects, but they were very much colored with what I would now understand as kind of Christian nationalists bias and slant. There were no boundary between religious indoctrination and education. It really took adulthood and reading books that weren't trying to disprove God made me realize that rhetoric was basically a lie.
A group of evangelical Christians raised their children to become influential in the White House, on Capitol Hill, and in the Supreme Court. Now, as adults, the "Joshua generation" are reckoning with their upbringing.
