Aristotle's idea that every body part has a function by which it contributes to the overall or kind of higher purpose of an organism. I was just interested in looking at it from a range of angles, so through the lens of racial politics, through the Lens of disability politics and so on. The book is associated with reproduction as somehow more feminine than other things such as race system and xenophobic imaginaries. So women are equated with being colonized by the womb - even though we're not Colonizing By Wombs right? It doesn't really say this but you know what I'm trying to say.
