Jerome Powell's Testimony on Inflation

Congressman Brad Sherman tried to congratulate Jerome Powell for bringing inflation back down to 4%. He said it's lower than the average rate of inflation during the Reagan administration, which is probably true because Ronald Reagan took office in 1981 when inflation was 13%. But again, what this congressman overlooks is the apples to oranges comparison between the inflation rate today and the inflation rate during the early 1980s.
