To have fire, you have to have fuel, oxygen, heat and a chemical reaction. When you take away any of those things, the fire goes away. Right now, fire departments work almost exclusively through fuel deprivation. They try to cut down trees or pull those apath to make the fire burn out because it has nothing left to burn. But you can also control heat when you put surfactinc even jos water, in through a jet engine and you create mist. And that essentially can put fire out in its traps.
