In June 1922, Lampeau led a raid on the home of a Baroness. The Baroness was so far gone from dementia that she wasn't even aware of anything going on. On July 8, he routed the local police and killed three of them. There were about 200 soldiers in the area, but Lampeau was able to avoid them easily.
