Is There an Auction Style in Residential Housing?

In a sellers market, it absolutely should be an auction process. The reason it's not is the realters in this country have a monopoly and don't want anybody to mess with their monopoly. In mexico, the government gave out oil drilling rights in these rectangles. So what they should have done is have only one of us drilling intoh ame oil. And the way you'd sort that out is this auction where the loser gets paid. That's interesting.
