The first original investigation was titled Haderogenous Effects of Therapeutic Dose Heparin in Patients Hospitalized for COVID-19. She says it found that heparin was more likely to be beneficial in those less severely ill at presentation or who had lower BMI. Dr. Brubakers: While population or cohort level evidence is helpful, clinicians would really like patient-specific information for counseling in care of their patients.
