He says there's so many people who want to follow Dydian's footsteps and do it in Tom Wolf's footsteps. There were no gatekeepers left and there were no editors, he says; now everyone can post on a website. Greene: Even if you have really talented writers, almost no publications anymore can say "I'm going to give you an expense account"
