Last year, the FDA approved 22 drugs. That was the lowest number of drugs approved since 2016. It takes $2.6 billion to bring a new drug to market; right now it takes 10 years. There's no other industry on the planet where after spending millions of dollars in preclinical testing to nominate the best drug candidates to bring into human clinical trial testing,. We only have a 10% success rate, 90% failure rate.
