Athletes can benefit more in terms of aerobic demands, from sprints than an endurance athlete who will have to repeat billions of sprint before he really gets his VO2 to increase. So that works very well with matching both the prescription and based on their perception and their physiology. Instead of doing 15-second of work at 120% of maximum aerobic speed, we can probably do it at 20% of the reserve.
