The Side Effects of Subthalamotomy Treatment for Parkinson's Disease

Dyskinesia can again be a finding in patients who have undergone stimulation of the subthalamic nucleus. In general, we don't find severe dyskinesia. The side effects that which concern me the most are those related to the internal capsule. We have a very high control of the production of the lesion, but it's not 100% of control.
