I Think the Russians Underestimated What Was Going to Be Required in Krane
The russians had probably less preparation than they should have had. The equipment was steadily deteriorating, and the troops were eating up their rations. And frankly, moral was pretty low as welld so i think it all fell apart from that moment. It was the time they spent on the borders, i think they did for them.
