Interconnections of Identity and Empowerment in Historical Struggles

This chapter examines the historical and legal recognition of marginalized groups in the U.S., particularly Native Americans, Mexican Americans, and formerly enslaved Black individuals. It highlights the collaborative efforts of the Red Power and Black Power movements in their fight against oppression and their shared focus on national identity and community empowerment.
