The Laws of the Universe Are Changed for Some Unknown Reason

The way things work changes as the universe goes on that's just the way the universe is. If these constants are changing then energy is not concerned right right? It could be like only one consistent way for the universe to be and it requires these constant to change. Right, it's still following some system which is governing how those variables change. But the Constant themselves, the ones that describe the motion of things and how you get the equations of motion, if those are changing, then this quantity we call energy is not conserved.
