This is Myth's and Legends, episode 318. We're doing this thing where, each month, we tell a story of one Olympian from Greek mythology. This time, it's Hephaestus, the sad lad Smithy who just can't catch a break. He had been wanting to know the circumstances of his birth forever. His first memory was waking up on the ground on the island of Lemnos. There was no negotiating, no bargaining,. Any question was seen as a refusal and refals were met with unrelenting violence.
